The Centrale, Midtown’s newest luxury condo designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli, is dressed up in art-deco touches, from the chevron-patterned terra-cotta on its exterior to cove lighting in the lobby. And while residents will certainly enjoy the modern convenience of the building’s elegantly outfitted Champalimaud-designed interiors, “it’s these little touches that make the building interesting,” says Art Hooper, president of Ceruzzi Properties, the developer behind the 71-story Midtown tower.
