The Inside Scoop: The Centrale Launch Event Roundup

The star of the show, The Centrale, is a 71-story tower designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects. It’s sleek, with its stone, steel, and glass facade set to shimmer on the skyline. And while its design is contemporary, with impressive modern flair, there is a clear nod to the art-deco classics of another era. The amenities include a 75-foot pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center designed by The Wright Fit, two massive lounges, a stunning lobby, and the Club Terrace, a furnished outdoor seating area with an ambiance that rivals some of the best restaurants in the city.

The residences themselves are a continuation of the sophistication and refinement that wrap around every corner of The Centrale. The renowned firm Champalimaud Design created spaces that exude the grandeur of old Manhattan, with massive, open layouts, marble countertops, and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame wildly expansive views of the cityscape and beyond. Exquisite bathrooms made with heated Bianco Dolomiti flooring, Marno Illusion marble tiles, and pristine Kallista sinks raise the wow factor considerably.

One look at The Centrale, and it’s immediately evident that meticulous care was taken in every aspect of the design. There’s a level of cohesion at work here that is rarely seen in buildings this large. The May 13th event was only the beginning of the many good and grand things on the horizon at The Centrale.
