Design firm Champalimaud will complete the Manhattan luxury condos at The Centrale, its biggest residential project to date, this summer. Working with the inspiring building design by architects Pelli Clarke Pelli, Champalimaud has meticulously crafted the interiors, from the sleek marble lobby to the elegant homes above it. The Midtown tower’s amenity spaces reflect the firm’s classic style via core elements like the art installations throughout the building and the block-long port-cochere. “With the Centrale, we wanted to create a residence that was luxurious, private, and held a sense of refined beauty: a respite in the heart of the city,” says Winston Kong, a partner at Champalimaud.
